Those affected can usually choose the emergency number (+49) 116 116 to have their checking card locked. Alternatively, this now works with the help of the Sparkasse app or the separate account for online banking in the browser on devices such as smartphones or tablets. With the Card Control setting, you can prevent fraudsters from shopping with the checking card in business or internet. To make use of this setting, only a few clicks are necessary.

Virtual switches can be used to use Card Control on the screen, whether you want to use the Sparkasse's checking card for online shopping.
